After seven years of dutiful service, my heated toilet seat finally stopped working. It only stopped because someone accidentally stepped on the wire and broke it. You can see from the pictures there was a little discoloration after seven years, but I believe it would have continued working just fine if not for the unfortunate wire-stepping incident.
This truly is one of the best presents ever! If you try to conserve energy and money by not heating your bathroom, this heated seat is such a luxury. The brand we bought comes with a 12 foot long cord, so it should reach any outlet nearby. It was extremely easy to install. I look forward, Lord willing, to enjoying my heated toilet seat for many years to come.
