You have someone else that knows what they are doing do it for you!
The PUD came out and dropped several trees for us that were either dead or almost dead. The trees were near power lines so they cut them down for free! The young man doing the cutting said he could come back later and take down our monkeytail tree. I have been wanting it down since we have moved here. It is too large and could possibly fall on our house in a storm.
Now we have a big pile if extremely pokey branches to burn. First we need to drag them to the burn pile! These branches are so extremely sharp, they can poke through the toughest gloves we have. Needless to say, the branches are still laying around the stump waiting to be dragged (drug?) off.
Big Daddy and the boys have already cut up the trunks into rounds and hauled them over to the splitting area.We should have plenty of wood for a while.
