The Apple Cider Farm

Today we took a tour of Latins Cider Mill and Farm. When we first arrived they gave us samples of their cider and they even gave us a free donut( the cider tastes just like an apple without the chewing). The owner of the farm showed us his animals. They have chickens, ducks, sheep, turkeys, goats, and a pig. The farm was on over 23 acres, and they used every inch of it. It was pretty neat seeing a farm that was over 55 years old. They were the ones that started the Olympia's farmers market.

Tuesday, we went to a cider mill on a field trip with our old homeschool group. It was called the Lattins Cider Mill and Farm. We got free samples of the cider and donuts they made and had a tour of the place. While we were racing rubber duckies and running through a mazes, we had a fun time.
