Father's Day Siouxon Creek Hike

Tim and I backpacked in the Siouxon Roadless Area of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest with some friends last month. Unfortunately, we forgot our camera.

I wanted to go hiking on Father's Day, but couldn't decide where to go. NeNe suggested we return to Siouxon Creek. It turned out to be an excellent idea (of course). The weather was gorgeous and the forest and creek were stunningly beautiful. The pictures just don't do it justice, but I'll share them with you, nonetheless.

Siouxon Creek is a great hiking, biking, backpacking location. Of course, being close to Vancouver it is a pretty busy place. There seems to be plenty of room, though. You can always hike further in if you want a more secluded experience. I'd like to do that someday, soon.
