Nice, long, sunny four-day weekend. We didn't want to waste it, so we went on a hike in the Trail of Two Forests and walked/climbed/scrambled our way through Lake Cave. It took us about 1:15 to get down to the bottom and 45 minutes to get back out. The boys had a great time. NeNe said she wasn't going to go into any more "difficult" caves. The Hood to Coast Relay is coming up quick (August 28th & 29th) so I've started running four times a week in preparation. Captain Crookednose and I ran four miles together on Memorial Day from his house in Vancouver. It was nice to see my old friend again.
We also invited my sister and her family all the way from down the street to come BBQ, eat, drink, and play Wii with us. We enjoyed watching the boys and their cousins play Raving Rabbids TV Party.
We hope all our friends and family enjoyed the weekend as much as we did.
