Another 10K run, this time in the little town of McCleary, Washington during their annual Bear Festival. I did a little better than last time, 53:21 minutes, which equates to about 8:38 minutes/mile. The flat-as-a-pancake course had beautiful country scenery, but boy was it hot out. Near the end of the race, I started to get "the chills", which is a danger sign of heat exhaustion. I need to continue to run in the heat to build up tolerance for Hood To Coast, at the end of August. Hopefully, I will survive the attempts :)
See you on the road,
- Big Daddy Andy
