After months of waiting, we finally have chicks. They were mailed from McMurray Hatchery on Friday and arrived at the post office in Olympia on Sunday. They are cute little fluffballs that peep. The green marker on their heads is to tell them apart from another gals' chickens (we ordered them together). The boys are playing with them as I type. We should handle the bunnies as much as we will probably handle the chickens.The van ride from Olympia was pretty uneventful except for having the heat blasting for almost an hour (doing whatever it takes to make our new little critters happy).
