SmallWorld Review

Small World by Days of Wonder is a fun game where you are fighting other players in a small world and you will have to fight other players to get bases for gold or you lose. It is a easy game to play and it has alot of fun races to play. The only hard thing is to pick the right race for the right time or you don't get that much gold in the end. You can play from 2 to 6 players.

Small World is a fun family board game. The story of the game is that there is not enough room on the planet for all the races that live on it, hence Small World. The races that are left battle it out for land and money on a small island. There is very little room to go around so everyone is in constant conflict. An unique and interesting feature of the game is that you do not get to keep the race you chose at the beginning of the game. You pick a race and use it to take as much as you can and then dump it when you can't do anymore with that race. Choosing your races carefully is very important in this game. It is also important to know when to dump your race and pick up another one. Another interesting feature about this game is that all races have a special racial power that can either aid or hinder you in game. Also when races are put down so you can choose them they are paired with another special power further aiding or hindering that race. Since races and special powers are placed together randomly you hardly ever have the same race and special power together for future games. This game is a fun and entertaining family game and the expansions further change each game experience. It was well worth the money to buy it and I would recommend it to anyone who likes family games.

Smallworld is a fun boardgame that you can play with 2 to 5 players, the objective of smallworld is to have the most Victory points in the game. To get victory points, you must take over regions using your army. However, at the start of the game, players have to choose which banner (Race and special power) they want. The banner just simbolizes which army you have. On the banners there are two numbers, you add those two numbers up and you get that many army tokens.

Get rid of it?!? How could you say such a thing?? ~ Bryan was just here discussing games the other day. I think he is going to bring the train game and he said he got something new that sounds fun. We got a new version of Scene it that I hope someone will play with me. Shawn thinks it is stupid and I never get to play :(
