Yesterday, me and my family went to Portland to see a Beavers versus Grizzlies baseball game. We got there a little early so we went to Powells bookstore and bought a few books. We got our exercise by walking all over trying to find it.
At the Beavers game they showed the lineup and the starting batters. Portland Beavers got a new mascot, Lucky the Beaver. The game started out pretty fast with everyone striking out. In the third inning the beavers got a home-run. Most of the first half of scores were home-runs. In the 7th inning the Beavers had 2 runs and the Grizzlies had 1 run. In the 8th inning the Beavers scored 5 runs and the Grizzlies 2. The 9th inning was more tense as the Grizzlies scored 4 runs. Everyone was up and clapping for the pitcher to strike out the batter, but he hit it. Everyone groaned until the outfield caught it. Then everyone stood up and cheered because the game was over and the Beavers won.
