A friend of mine by the name of Captain Crooked Nose wanted to go hiking someplace scenic. What better place than the twice-visited Siouxon Roadless Area in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest?
The Captain took many excellent pictures of the beautiful scenery along Siouxon Creek. What a plethora of stunning water features and foilage.
The Captain had a decent set of legs and endless stamina, which allowed us to march five miles to the mighty 75 foot tall Wildcat Creek Falls. Fortunately, it was cool under the monstrous Douglas Fir canopy and along Siouxon Creek.
Almost ten miles in all. An excellent hike.
